Most people often see music as a form of enjoyment with just few people thinking on how to monetize it. But there are infact a lot of people that are millionaire and some people making some dope for themselves through the art of music. As a music fan I have decided to research on how to make money with music and I decided to share.

Firstly you need to be very creative in your art. Nobody want to hear one thing over and over again. They need to see and feel that old thing with a new and spiced up vibe. Being creative will guarantee you success and large respect.

You need to get yourself involve in the old music. Music revolve and evolve, nowadays people want to hear those old music they grew up hearing. Recently a particular group have been having concert on opera/mozart's work and they have been making bulk of money through this means.

Always rehearse and do it well by posting them on social media for people to see what you can do and offer in the music world. The best place to get attention is social media.

Organise concerts in schools and hospitals... Especially higher institution. Associate yourself with people that can help you and people that share Interest in Orchestrated music. Because now it's one of the most paying music.

Good luck.

I believe music is very lucrative especially if you are an established musician or an A-list act. Most top musicians such as Beyonce, Jay Z, Eminem, Late Michael Jackson make a lot of money from music and they usually get bumper deals in terms of endorsements and sponsorship. You could have an artiste being a brand ambassador of a major beverage company and they would be paid handsomely and would never run out of beverage once the contract is on. But for music to be lucrative to and individual, he/she must have the talent and the drive to work hard so as to reach the top and have high earning power.

Hard work is where the rehearsal comes in... Most of the A-listed musicians have made names for themselves by being hungry to know more of what appeal to people's ear and ready to learn that gene of music for their satisfaction. Unfortunately most of the upcoming musicians are lazy to come up with good lyrics and good melody.

Sure, hardwork does pay and these A- list musicians know this that's why they are always on tour promoting their music or in the studio cooking something new. It's regrettable that upcoming musicians do not value the place of hard work and most times only depend on their talents which would not take them far. Most of these upcoming musicians have wack lyrics that cannot stand the test of time.

Yes you are right. Music is very lucrative only if you know how to package yourself in such a way that people out their will be craving to hear or listing to your music.
Before you start music it very good that you must be creative and ready to sacrifice your time ,energy and resources (money).
Those that don't know how to go about it has failed due to their low knowledge about what they are doing while some a making it big with just little effort in music.

To me is not a lucrative strategy because most people think that when one person you wey close to made in music industry. You will now want to join all because this one made it. It's by grace if you can make it in music industry, connection, favours, significant people, before you can make it in music industry. It's not just a one man thing.

If you love making music, it's one of the most fulfilling ways to earn a living. Whether it's your full-time job or a lucrative side-gig, selling music is a creative way to make money doing something you love. For a lot of musicians, the siren song of a profitable music career just isn't worth the risk.

Music is very lucrative you just need one hit song and you are blown for life. I've seen a lot of musicians who after their first hit have nothing to offer again but because of the first hit people still listen to their music go for their concert, stream their song online and this is making them rich, so music is very lucrative. Music industry is the must lucrative in the entertainment industry in my country.

Music is undoubtably a very lucrative venture and career. Evident is the flamboyant lifestyles musicians lead. It takes a lot of patience, practice, hard work, smart work and all of that for you to get to the top. Music is one of the oldest career in human history and till today it's still one of the most relevant careers. People can't stay a day without listening to music.

Music is quite a very lucrative industry but it is few people that actually get to sell their music and make money from it because the music industry cannot take alot of people that will be making it in the music industry because it's a very competitive industry. The music industry in Nigeria is quite a saturated one and so for a musician to make it he or she has to be quite good to be able to compete with the already established acts in the music industry.

After seen the success of most musical celebrities nobody will say music is not lucrative. Music overtime has become a source of living. Like you said in this post organizing of concerts, recording songs helps project your music and if these music is nice people but them or stream online so one can ever make money from music both offline and online. It is indeed lucrative.

This type of career field requires a lot of talent and sometimes good exposure, music is a natural talent within an individual and that is what makes some people popular musician because they are talented in what they are doing, it is a lucrative career if it is something that you are talented on and you are not doing it because of money.

This is not to brag but I have more than 300 compositions of songs in English, in our language and other dialects. The genre is also a mix of rock, pop, etc. I have won in several songwriting competition and had even won the grand prize of the competition by the National Commission for Culture and the Arts. But I have not earned from my music. Composing is different from marketing.

although music and song is profitable but sometimes it is not advisable for you to do it just before the profits , you should consider if it is your natural talent for you to go into this area because if you don't have the natural talent then you may not have something reasonably good for someone to be interested on.

Music is very lucrative but you have to be talented before you can make it through musics. Musicians don't really get rich because of their musics but because of diffrent awards and being ambassadors to various brands. These are some ways musicians can make money. That's why talents should not be downplayed.
