What is the most lucrative job in your country?

If you ask elementary school kids in my home country what they want to become when they grow up, most of them will say doctors, engineers, nurse, pilot, etc. By the time then are in the high school the kids will begin to think about other career options like software, IT, etc. However, by the time they graduate from the university, they will be thinking about something else.

In my home country, banking is a highly sought-after job. In our country, banks are categorized into three major categories based on their paid-up capital and area of operation. Big banks are A category banks, there are 21 Category A banks in the country. I do not know about the number of category B and category C banks, but I can assume that there are over 200 banks in the country categorized as B and C. The number of finance and microfinance companies is estimated to be about 1000. These banks and finance companies provide jobs to over 10 million people.

Banking sector is one of the fastest growing businesses in the country. Despite the Covid pandemic, banks are performing really when. Banks are also the most publically traded companies in the share market. That’s the reason why hundreds of thousands graduate dream about working in banks.

The most lucrative job in my country is the engineering job, I see this job very lucrative and innovative. But the fact is that everyone has his own idea of lucrative job. But I believe it is best to follow your dreams and what you enjoy doing. Some time people do jobs they don't like just because they were told it is a lucrative job.

In the past decade the nursing and medical courses were in high demand because of the potential employment abroad. Nurses earn high in the US and Europe so it was a lucrative career. But now it is technology no matter what course as long as it is in IT and communications, you will not have a hard time in finding a job.

I do not know what is the most lucrative job in my country, I have friends doing different things, and they are making really good money. For example, I have a journalist friend who earns really well, I have a friend who teaches in colleges, and earns well. Even a construction worker can earn well.

Although there are many professions in the world, people choose their profession for different reasons. Some want only to earn money, some want to pass the time, some only show their credit. In my home country, teaching is the highly chosen sector, especially teachers of English, Science or Mathematics earn much money. None are able to earn more than they. The money comes from private teaching. A teacher of English teaches about 50 or more students in a batch and takes fee $15 from per student. He teaches only three days per week and time is one hour. He can teach 6-8 batches 3 days and 6-8 batches another 3 days of the week. In this way, a teacher earns more and more money. Besides, doctors earn much money too.

Education is a big business in my part of the world as well. Schools, colleges and universities are commercial enterprise that make a lot of money. Teachers also earn well. Teachers in public schools and private schools draw a huge salary. They also offer private classes and earn extra money.
