To save guard our Bank Account we need to put some things in to consideration like our ATM Card number needed to be well kept.
ATM Card is very important though some people don't see it as anything at all.

I have witness a scenario where one woman collected a ATM Card from Bank with the Four digit number and when she got him she just dropped her bag some where.
But unfortunate for her some body picked the card and saw the number . The person now copied the number and started using the card to be buying goods online untilled when the bank now helped the woman to block the card and the account number before they now rectify it for her.

It is very important to be very careful with our Bank Account.

Safeguarding our bank account and finances can not be overemphasized, hackers and fraudsters are on every corner both offline and online, I think we need to stay up to date with what's happening in the finance world with regards to hijacking, because these fraudsters are getting new tactics everyday.

Our data can get compromised through different means like purchasing through a fake online store, using a fake POS vendor and sometimes even downloading malicious apps from the internet.

We need to safeguard our ATM cards and pins and also not give them out to even people we overly trust because sometimes your trusted ones can conspire to attack you.

One of the most important steps to safeguarding your bank account is to keep it secure. This means keeping it safe from thieves and others who might be trying to take advantage of you.

The best way to do this is by using passwords and pin codes for your accounts. These are small numbers that are used on computers to access these accounts. The numbers are usually found on a piece of paper or in an envelope, but you can choose whatever works best for you. You should also change those passwords regularly so that no one has access to them.

You should also make sure that you do not store sensitive information such as Social Security numbers and credit card numbers in any computer files. If someone were to get access to those files and steal them, they would have access to everything else on your computer as well as your bank account information.

These will also help:

1. Keep your card in a safe place. If possible, store your card in a safety deposit box at the bank or give it to someone who can keep it safe for you.

2. Don't carry large amounts of cash with you. Instead, store this amount in your safe deposit box at the bank or use an ATM machine that doesn't charge fees for doing so.

3. Don't share information about your financial accounts with anyone without first making sure that they know how to use them properly and can be trusted with their sensitive data, such as passwords and account numbers.

The number one tip is that you should not disclose the sensitive details of your bank account to anybody. Details like identity, biometric data, ATM pin and your ATM card details. This information is for your use only. Another way to protect your bank account is to make complaints only at the banking hall. Don't find help with your account from just anyone. Without that you won't have to find difficulty, in tracing the transactions on your account.

Also, don't use your account to receive money for other people. It could be a ploy to get access to your bank account.

Also, run some settings in your account that would enable OTP as a confirmation for all online transactions. It is also important to link your mobile number to your bank account. It helps you to monitor the activities and transactions that are going on in your account. With that, you can stop illegal activities on your bank account.

Protecting your bank account is a top priority. If you want to safeguard your financial assets, then it is important to take the right precautions. Here are some tips that you can use to protect your bank account:

1. Don’t give out personal information such as your address or phone number over the phone. If someone asks for this information and you don’t know them, then ask them their name and company before giving them any personal information.

2. Don’t use public computers when doing online banking at home or in public places such as coffee shops or libraries, as there may be spyware installed on these computers by hackers who can steal your sensitive data such as credit card numbers and passwords if they are compromised. Instead, use a computer in a secure location such as at work or at home where no one else can access it without permission from you or an authorized person in charge of security measures for that computer system.

3. Always keep an eye on your bank statements regularly so that you can monitor any suspicious transactions that might occur during normal banking hours but which do not appear on other transaction reports published by banks on a weekly basis (e.g., monthly statements).
