London's company claims - capable of pulling about one kilos of carbon dioxide from the atmosphere every day

London-based architecture firm Eco-Logic Studios has produced such bio-curtains that can pull carbon dioxide present in the atmosphere. They have been prepared in the form of an urban curtain. These curtains, called photo synthetica, can pull about one kilo of carbon dioxide from the atmosphere every day, which is equal to the carbon dioxide to be absorbed by 20 large trees.

Shines at night--

1. Every module of this kind will work as a photo bioreactor. This curtain made of digitally designed bio plastics will use sunlight in the day to provide food to the micro-algae, and will shine at night. The non-filtered air is at the bottom whereas the clean air comes up through the water in the forms of bubbles. This carbon-neutral bio-curtain uses neutron algae to absorb carbon from the contaminated air present in the atmosphere and releases oxygen.

2. According to Claudia Pasquero, co-founder of Eco Logic, this algae converts the atmosphere and carbon dioxide into its biomass. It is used as raw material for making bio plastics. Sion bacteria cells present in algae eat poisonous particles present in the air and send clean air to the top. Not only that, they also separate carbon and oxygen from carbon dioxide.

3. Claudia explains that where the curtains are covered, when the air comes in contact with them or passes through it, the algae immediately separates the carbon dioxide from it. The process of photosynthesis is completed only on the release of fresh oxygen. These screens are designed in such a way that they can be hanged from the side of the building. It has 16 modules and each is two meters wide and seven meters long. Which is made of two transparent layers of plastic bio. These are all interconnected and among them the algae is present. The cost of bio-curtains be up from Rs 23,000 to Rs 1.5 lakh per square meter depending on need and type.
