A store inside or outside the mall

The mall is a building that houses a variety of commercial establishments from restaurants to stores and even service businesses. The advantage of a store in the mall is the air conditioning that is centralized which provides comfort to the shoppers especially in tropical countries like ours. In this modern time the mall has become the alternative to parks. Families used to go to parks during weekends but now it is the mall that is their usual haunt.

Now this question from a friend if a store in the mall can recover the high rent against a store that is outside the mall but also in the main road (or avenue). A press release of one mall said that shoppers who go to their mall have the intention to dine or to buy which, I would admit, is true while the passerby in the main street may just be passing. Maybe those stores inside the mall are earning because they have been there for many years now.

People prefer going to a mall to buy things because they know that once they get to the mall they can buy everything they want inside the mall, but going to the roadside to get something they can't get everything they want in one shop and they will not want to be wandering around the streets looking for what to buy for my shop to anothe so they prefer going somewhere they can get all their stuff
