Did you know that on Oct 27, 2021, Ethereum has made an upgrade called Altair. Altair is a kind of beacon chain that has an important role on the Ethereum network, the first Beacon chain was launched in December 2020, which will act as staking on the Ethereum network, Altair will coordinate the network for sharding and staking, as a transition from PoW to PoS. Altair will also complement EIP-1559, so the Ethereum blockchain will become capable. Upgrading Ethereum, Altair has deployed more than 90% of validators so it will be able to keep the network secure.
As the basis of Ethereum 2.0, Beacon chain has prepared a Shard Chain, which will allow 64 blockchains to work in harmony, so that the network will be smoother.
It is hoped that next year Ethereum will be ready to switch to Proof of Stake consensus, which will be validated by Ethereum holders. The day after the Ethereum upgrade Oct 29, 2021, Ethereum has set a new ATH record of $4,400.
