Before you choose a career

The labour market keeps getting tighter every moment. Many people are now jostling for a limited number of works in a particular career field.

The competition needs one to he very careful while choosing a career lest one wastes his productive years studying in school for nothing.

There are many factors one need to be considered while choosing a career. But most importantly, the econimic advantage should be given more importance to.

There is need for one to choose a career that's high in demand. There are careers that one needs to consider because of its high demand. For instance, there is no way people won't need teacher, doctor and even career in transportation is not a bad idea.

The other thing to consider is longetivity. Someone who goes for banking should know that he needs to be developing his or her skill in many areas because banking is now being taking over by robot. We have ATMs all over.

The last factor I will mention is number of people involved in it. People are fond of joining bandwagon. You don't need to go for a career just because many people are into it.

A decade ago the most in demand courses in colleges are nursing and IT courses. But now it seems that IT is still the most and nursing has gone down in the number of enrollments. The students are monitoring the salaries of the career that they will have when they graduate. They now have the advantage of social media and the internet for the information.

Sure, we don't need bandwagon to get started in life.we don't need to follow whst others do, because they do it and it works for them that way and we want to follow suit without learning how it works first. We should create or mould our own career by ourselves and not relying on anyone creating it for us. We should make researches, learn from experts line and offline that is successful on the part we're about choosing to be like them but developing our own ideas to ride on success.

I think going for a career should be about passion and the skills one has, not necessarily about what others are going for. Following the bandwagon is never the best when choosing career. But if it is what one has passion for why not. but I advise all the time to go for a good money making career

The first requirement is you should have interest. If you try to build your career in something that is not interesting to you, you cannot become successful. The second requirement is to build relevant skills and gain knowledge. But the most important thing is t find out whether the career you have chosen is profitable or not.

You should build your career in something that is interesting to you. If you do not hve interst in your choosen career field, you will never become successful. You should also check whether your chosen career field is lucrative or not. You need to see if you can make money from your career field.

I believe in your first line which asks people to choose what they love becuase without passion, it may be difficult to record success. But don't you think the second line is a contradictory opinion which seems to put money as a motivating factor and not passion. Or what if what we have passion for is not that lucrative. For example, teaching.
