Celsius, which has been embroiled in controversy since suspending transfers and withdrawals of assets, is now experiencing backlash from its fans, the latest of which is YouTuber and crypto expert Ben Armstrong.
Ben turned to Twitter to take against Celsius, claiming to be one of those who feel defrauded by the company, and announcing that he will file a class-action lawsuit against Celsius Network and its CEO Alex Mashinsky.
The current scenario is still not in Celsius's control, as people are becoming increasingly enraged. Mashinsky is also attempting to keep Celsius customers cool, and in order to avoid controversy, he has hired restructuring attorneys from "Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld LLP".
Celsius has requested Ben via email, to delete tweets in which Armstrong has targeted Celsius' employee Miko Matsumura; Celsius has also threatened legal and other action if such tweets are not removed. Armstrong, on the other hand, tweeted that email and stated categorically that he will not delete that tweet and he cannot not be silenced.
