I had seen the social Bingo for the first time in a US military base here. It was noticeable that most of the players were seniors. They have many cards in front of them for playing as if they have memorized the numbers on each card.
The American serviceman who invited us to the base said that their bingo games get more players in the seniors bracket maybe because they have nothing to do at home. That got me thinking because I was young then although in my mind I think that is a good activity. You have a little cash, that will do. If you lose then it is okay. But if you win that will surely be thrilling. Unfortunately the pandemic had closed the social bingo here that are in the mall. Poor seniors who couldn’t go out now, no bingo for them.
