For most businesses, advertisment of one form or another is crucial to ensure that customers know about the goods and services offered.
Most times, this requires a budget and a knowledge of which method of advertisment actually works.

Someone can also choose to hire an expert to do that, but that will require even more money. It can however be more effective and can reduce cost of trial and error.

For most new businesses, such money is not easily available and they have to cope with competition so they need a way to stand out. Some will choose to do without any form of adverts, or they use the barest minimum. It may work or not.

Have you ever encountered a business that survived and actually thrived without using adverts especially when new?

It's Impossible for a new business to survive without advertising, how would people know what you are selling or offering? Advertising is like creating awareness for not just does within your location, but does outside your location as well to know about your business.

Yes it is quite possible for most business to survive without advertisement but the most important thing here will be how you can establish the business in a good and highly populated location because that is the only thing that will help you if there is no advertisement .

It will also depend on the type of business you are establishing that will determine the possibility of you succeeding, if your business is a business that deals with drugs or probably is a business that deals with food I believe the chance of you succeeding with this business even when there is no advertisement will be high because naturally all these things are always things that are on high demand.

In whatever business you are establishing if there is a way you can advertise the business it is always very important to do so at least at the earliest startup of the business just to inform the whole public about the existence of your business organisation.

There are numerous benefits of advertising your business , The most important reason why your business should be advertised is that your business can grow fast within a short period of time. That's how it's works

A new business can survive without advertising, this applies to online business as well as offline business. Let's say you launched a clothing store, you chose a prime location to open your shop. You spent a lot of money on store decoration and hanging a banner in front of your shop. Your business wll be noticed by every passer by. If they are interested in the products youn are selling, they will buy from you. Let's say you have an online store, you spend money on SEO and managed to appear on number one search results. You will be generating sales withour running ads.

I don't know your definition of business. But it is slightly possible for new business to thrive online without advertisement. The main drive force of a business is YOU(THE business owner). Advertisememt is just to create awareness for more people to see it what you are selling. So what is the essence of people seeing what you are selling but the owner lacks customer relationship

Although the role of advertising is very important in new businesses, in medium and large businesses in general, advertising can be budgeted and the most effective and efficient method has been chosen. but in home businesses, such as selling honey, snacks, selling cakes, or other basic necessities, they are usually only marketed through word of mouth, whatsapp groups, and other social media. But in businesses such as motorized vehicle care, clothing sewing businesses, barbershops and beauty salons, if the business is in a strategic location many don't need advertising, they only need to put up a business board.

It depends on the kind of business that you are doing. Not all business can survive through advertisements and at times there are some business that does not need advertisements.

The only important thing is branding that is all. How you brand your product can attract customers with even doing advertisements.

There are some businesses that do not really need advertising to get known. There are other factors that determine this and they may include the location where the business is sited, the efficiency of the business and many others.

Indeed advertising is key towards making a business known and attracting patronage, but there are still ways a business can Excel without it.

I have seen businesses that started on a local basis. The owner of the business had no means to advertise and all he did was deliver well with the little patronage he had and within no time, he had a lot of costumers and his business grew and is still growing.
The idea of advertising is nice and I think a business that is advertised and one that is not can not be compared but depending on how needed a commodity or service is, advertising can only play a little or no part in business expansion.
