1. Injured ribs like bruises, fractures, breaks can cause chest pain a person might have felt a crack or pain at the time of injury if they have actually broken a rib
2. Asthma
It can cause chest pain due to the common breathing disorder characterized by the inflammation in the airways other symptoms include wheezing, coughing and short of breath
3. Collapses lung can also cause sudden chest pain when breathing and they can also experience shortness of breath, rapid heart rate and tiredness as well.
4. Hypertrophic cardiomyopathy can also cause chest pain, it is when the heart grows too thick due to genetic factors so the thickening of the blood prevent the blood from flowing from the heart which causes the muscle to work very hard to pump blood.

Thanks for this educative and informative post. Kudos to you. We should avoid sleeping on the chest whenever we want to sleep. It is a bad sleeping posture and also we should make sure we don't drink too much of cold water. All these and more are some causes of chest pain.

Cool and pneumonia can also have an effect on the chest because it can affect the rib and the lungs which can also lead to chest pain .it is also the best for us to protect ourselves from cold and prevent injuries of the rib. You should also tell us more on how we can prevent lungs collapse and what are the things we have to do when we experience it.
