Comprehensive car insurance typically covers damages to your vehicle that are not caused by a collision, such as theft, vandalism, natural disasters, falling objects, fire, and animal collisions. Below are the key coverage details of comprehensive car insurance.

Theft
If your car is stolen and not recovered, the insurance will typically pay you the actual cash value of the vehicle at the time it was stolen.

Vandalism
The insurance will pay for the repairs if your car is deliberately damaged by someone, like scratching or graffiti.

Natural Disasters
Comprehensive insurance protects your vehicle against damage caused by natural disasters like floods, hurricanes, earthquakes, and tornadoes.

Falling Objects
If your car sustains damage from falling objects like tree branches or debris, comprehensive coverage will take care of the repair expenses.

Fire
Comprehensive insurance covers damages to your vehicle caused by fire, whether it’s due to an accident or arson.

Animal Collisions
If you hit an animal while driving and it damages your vehicle, comprehensive coverage will help cover the repair costs.

Comprehensive car insurance is just like 360-degree protection, especially if you are a new one in car driving than accident chances are higher, although the premium just goes up because they provide so numerous things like:

Own Damage - All Accidents, Third Party Bodily Injury & Property Damage, Accidents due to fire, Natural Disaster/Acts of God, and even protect from theft, Windscreen/Window Breakage, and even provide towing services if a car breakdown along with this it also covers medical expenses upto certain limit depending upon which insurance company you choose. The only thing that is not covered under comprehensive car insurance is collision almost all necessary things are included. Driving a car without insurance is not a good decision.

Comprehensive car insurance is indeed like having 360-degree protection for your vehicle. As a new driver, the chances of getting into an accident are higher due to lack of experience on the road. Having comprehensive insurance coverage can provide you with peace of mind knowing that you are financially protected in case of any unforeseen circumstances. Comprehensive insurance can also cover medical expenses for you and your passengers in case of an accident, as well as liability coverage in case you cause damage to someone else's property or injure another person.
