Water pollution is one of the reasons for the out break of some pandemic in the society. This action sis both common in the rursl area where activites like adding chemical to water during fishing and also in the urban area where some industries our their waste products in the river. This doesn't mean that household doesn't involve in it as well. Some households are fond of the print refuse in the water. All these have bad effects on the members of a society and even the society at large.

Water pollution affects human health in numerous ways. The most common way is through drinking water. If a city's drinking water contains pollutants, that water will contain those pollutants when it comes out of the tap. People will drink that water and ingest the pollutants, which can cause illness, disease, and other health effects.

Another common way that people are affected by water pollution is by eating fish or shellfish that have ingested pollutants. This is known as bioaccumulation. The pollutants can enter the food chain through polluted water, and move up the food chain when smaller animals eat them, and larger animals eat the smaller ones. Bioaccumulation means that human beings who eat fish or shellfish contaminated with these toxins are also consuming them.

Polluted water can also be absorbed into the skin through bathing or swimming, affecting our health in a similar way to drinking polluted water.

Water-borne illnesses and diseases are caused by exposure to sewage, chemicals, and other contaminants. The effects of water pollution on human health depend on the type of pollutants present in the water, how much is present and for how long you have been exposed.

Water pollution can cause gastrointestinal disorders like diarrhea, dysentery and hepatitis. These diseases are common in developing countries where there is less access to clean drinking water.

Water pollution can also cause skin infections, respiratory problems and heart diseases. Children are more susceptible to these infections and diseases because their bodies are still developing.
