Expanding dining area of the restaurant

For the restaurant business that is suffering from the protocols that are imposed to avoid covid transmission, managers and owners are using their creativity in trying to get more business. The maximum capacity allowed in restaurants is only 30% so the revenue is also down to that figure. But considering the overhead which remains then the rent and the wages will kill the business.

Now delivery and pick up is the order of the day for restaurants. But for those with space outside the restaurant the dine-in area can be extended outside. A parking area can be converted into a dining area. Just rent or buy a gazebo (big tent) with chairs and tables and presto you have an extended dining area. It cannot be denied that diners also have the desire to dine in restaurants but they also want to observe the protocols. An outdoor dining area under a big tent is safer than dining inside the enclosed restaurant.
 
Expanding could be done when we need enough space for your business or maybe going to the amount of people coming in until the restaurants at a particular time is so much then obviously you need to get enough space to accommodate the influx of visitors,I don't see anything wrong with this as long as it doesn't affect anybody negatively, It can also be done to curb the spread of Corona virus as it just said.
