On 24 June, Harmony lost around $100 Million in Horizon Bridge App hack. Harmony protocol.tried its best to track the hacker, but hacker seems starrer than Harmony team, and is not be located.
On 26 June Sunday, Harmony Protocol offered one Million dollar reward to hacker for returning the stolen crypto, and this has become a controversial discussion.
According to most of the people, the hacker is set, and he won't return 100 million for 1 million: however, some still thinks that the offered 1m is clean money, and stolen 100m is dirty money, so this offer is still worth.
Chance
I think there is still chance for both hacker and Harmony Protocol. On 10 August 2021,
Poly Network hack incident stunned the crypto world, that was the then largest DeFi hack.
Poly Network also offered reward (only half a million dollar, and a job), this transformed the hacker and he returned stolen 611 million dollar worth cryptos.
