The world changing and almost 80% of the people in the world now use internet. Businesses start from a local level first before going global and it's a good insight all local businesses should have.

Okay. Let me be pragmatic, let's say you own eatery local business having a website makes people know that you also have a business office online so therefore new people in your area can easily see your eatery once they google eatery on your area. A website will help you grow from local level that is staying in your eatery to delivering of foods to other places.

Which will be a very massive growth and with that your business can growth within a month or two and will continue growing.

What is good to give a business an online presence I think that if the business is actually a local business like you say tease then most of potential customers will be people who have little or no access to the internet. Best thing that can be done is to do an advertisement jingle on the television or using the radio.
