Reasons to Create Multiple eBay Accounts

There are a number of reasons for having multiple eBay accounts. Here’s a list of 3 reasons:

While eBay no longer shows bidder identities in auctions, you can see what someone is buying by looking at feedback. Having more than one account could help you avoid the dilemma like some of your classmates know what you buy and how much you spend on something.

If you practice eBay Arbitrage, you do not want a seller to see you selling the same item you just bought from them a few weeks earlier. You also do not want other bidders to know what is going on.

Having multiple eBay accounts allows you to specialize in different items with different accounts. You sell trains under one account, use another eBay account to sell general items like dishes and kitchen ware, and have a third account just for your IWantCollectibles items. This way you can increase the chances of getting bidders to bid on multiple items because they are all related, and tailor your eBay me pages for each market.

How to create eBay Accounts?

Before you start, you must have a unique email address for each eBay account you set up. Your ISP will probably allow you to have more than one email account, so check with them. If not, use an email account tied to a domain if you have your own website. If you use a free email account , you'll have to prove who you are with a checking account or credit card. This can be the same credit card used on your existing eBay account.

Removing eBay cookies from your computer. eBay puts cookies on your computer to remember your login status and track your use. These may cause problems when you try to create a new eBay account so we will delete them.

Do not worry about whether you need the eBay cookies. The eBay system will replace any cookies you need automatically when it finds them missing.

Protecting your eBay Accounts

You should now bid or buy something so your new account does not get purged by eBay. While eBay's rules do not say inactive accounts will be purged, I had heard from readers who set up eBay accounts and never used them, that they were unable to later access them. Just go out an bid on something with the new account. Find something worth 500 dollars and bid 10 dollars or some insanely low amount. That's enough to protect the account from being purged.

Click on the confirmation email and then bid on something. You don't have to win the item, just bid so the account becomes active. If you don't bid or list something within 30 days of opening your new account, eBay may delete it.

I highly recommended Browser ads to assist the management of your multiple eBay accounts. Recently, ads came out a new function called RPA Robot, which could provide automatic management as your setting to run an account. With the help of RPA Robot, the account will bid something regularly every day, every week, etc, it makes the account seem like running by a real user which could protect the account from being purged.

I do not see any reason to create multiple eBay accounts because multiple accounts means violation of terms of services of any website where each user is expected to have one account then this can be easily tracked. Many people suffer from account limitation for such practice and there is even people logged in in shared wifi and suspected as doing multiple accounts while this is not the case. So it is preferable to have one account instead of doing illegal tricks in order to maximise earning falsifly.
