Labour is considered as one of the major factors of production , it is further considered as the leading factor of production because with the help of labour instilled in human beings whether skilled or unskilled business activities and practices tend to take place provided the raw materials and natural resources are made available , thereby leading to the production and manufacturing of various goods and services which are used to satisfy some of the numerous human wants and needs of Man . Labour by nature need to be nurtured and without being nurtured labour tends to diminish , below are some of the way in which government can nurture and enhance the labour instilled in its citizens thereby increasing the labour Force .

THROUGH EDUCATION AND TRAINING : efficiency of labour can be increased as a result of increasing the level of education and training received by the workers . A well-educated or well trained worker is in position to improve efficiency in his or her work .

EFFICIENCY OF OTHER FACTORS OF PRODUCTION : Labour force of a particular country will increase if other factors of production like land , capital , and entrepreneurship is putted in an efficient mode , and when labour is been combined with this efficiently placed other factors of production , productivity tends to increase and skyrocket in a high rate .

To increase the labor force of a country, human resources have to be increased because without that it won't be possible but if people can get training on different skillset it will really go a long way in making that community or country at large productive.

This exactly what Asian countries are doing, they build their population and citizens with quality skills and then outsource jobs for them from other countries that have large demands and money to pay for labor like North American countries and majority of e European countries, currently most of apple's phone chips and boards are outsourced to China, they have engineers that get to work on these which will boost their knowledge and increase their skillset.

Tesla car parts are being made China too. This shows you how powerful a country can be if it invest in humans resources, how government benefits in all of this is by imposing tax laws for both the companies and employers which I think it's the fair deal.

I don't think we can contain our population using our limited resources that are not enough for even 2/3 of us.

But strategic investment in citizen can rescue us from sliding down the slope

Increasing the labor force of a country can be achieved through population growth, immigration and lifting the participation rate.
Population growth is the most straight-forward way to increase the labour force of a country. The higher the birth rate, the more people there will be entering the workforce.

A country can also increase its labor force by allowing immigrants to enter the country, who may then join the workforce. This is a common practice in many European countries and has been shown to increase productivity and reduce unemployment.
However, this is not always an easy solution and often comes with its own set of problems such as social unrest or increased crime rates. It is therefore important that governments closely monitor this process and ensure that it is implemented systematically to mitigate these issues.

Lifting the participation rate refers to increasing the number of working age adults who are employed or looking for work. This can be achieved by providing access to training and education for adults who have left school early, or those whose skills need updating due to changes in technology or work practices.

This method is often successful because it does not rely on outside factors such as population growth or immigration but rather seeks to optimise what already exists within society by encouraging people who have left school early (or never attended) to return for job.

This topic is quite interesting, increasing the labour force of a nation is not just done by increase the number of children that a woman can give both to in every given family, while this may appear to be very connected to the ways that we can increase the labour force and bring the country to a point where we can say we are having an optimum population. where resources in the country will equates the number of people we are having in that geographic space. But it also has a lot to do with how well the citizens of a country can manage their citizens and ensure that each citizen in the country is well equipped with the right level of education and training that will make them very useful in any sector of the economy they may find themselves. There are countries where the government of the country ensures they provide adequate education to empower their citizens with the right training and this has helped their citizens to become very productive in all ramifications. So it is not enough the have the population without empowering the population with the right training, and just having a population of powerless people.

The labour force is the number of people employed plus the number of people unemployed but actively seeking employment. In order to increase the labour force, encourage more women to seek employment. The International Labor Organization (ILO) estimated that globally, women accounted for only 40 percent of the world's labour force in 2000 and that number has not changed significantly in recent years. If these numbers could be increased, particularly in developing countries, the global labor force would rise as a result.

Help teenagers find jobs while they are still in school. By encouraging students to find part-time work during their high school years and full-time work during their college years, students make themselves more desirable to employers after graduation.

Provide tax breaks for companies who hire employees from disadvantaged backgrounds. A company may be reluctant to hire someone with a criminal record or a lack of education; however, if there is an incentive for them to do so then they may change their mind.

Create service programs for young people to perform community service before entering the workforce. As well as being a benefit for society as a whole, this will provide participants with skills and experience that make them more employable when they begin looking for work.

Sometimes the increasing of the labour force of a particular country is sometimes the duty and task of the government government and ruling over the citizens of that particular country . It doesn't have to be complicated because some of the ways the government can help in the building of better and promising labour Force in the original country is by putting into establishment their sponsoring of the youth by the establishment of schools and other college of education where they can successfully and efficiently learn a skill or possibly a profession which after passing series of years of learning they could possibly come out to be promising individuals with a good and well paying job .

In some countries of west Africa like Nigeria the labour force of Nigeria is actually dying in the sense that the government are not showing any interest to improve the labour force of it people or to improve the knowledge and creativity of it people and citizens . The ability for a particular country or region to develop and to grow in prosperity totally depends on how creative and knowledgeable members of the labour force are . This is something indeed the government of every country must understand .

There are different ways by which labor force can be increased but I also hope that the labor market will be capable of accomodaing everyone as well. The most easiest way is by the government making education as free as possible.

I know a lot of people would want to be educated so that they can easily find jobs but how do you do this when the cost of acquiring education is very high. So this leave a lot of people not being able to acquire education. This invariably means that when the level of illiteracy is high then the work force especially for specialized jobs will be low.

Another is having high level of unskilled labor. The labor market for the unskilled is very small. it is those with the right skills that would be employed so when the people are not educated and do not have the needed skills as well, labor force will be small as the number to be employed wilo be small as well.

Another reason for low labor force is the age of the people. if those that are not of age to work are greater in number than those that are within the age rate labor force would definitely be small
