The COTP (Cost of Targeted Prospects) is a major factor in determining the cost of your ad campaign. The more competitive the market, the more expensive it is to get new customers, and so you have to pay more for them.

However, there are strategies for lowering this number. One of them is using ad targeting techniques. You can target people who have already visited your website before or searched for similar products/services on Google before - they're much more likely to be interested in what you have to offer than someone who has never heard of you before!

Another way to lower the COTP is by using remarketing techniques. Remarketing is when your ads show up again on websites that people visit after visiting yours - so if someone visits your site and then goes on Facebook but doesn't buy anything right away, then they'll see an ad from you on Facebook later. This way you can make sure they don't forget about what they saw when they were last visiting your site and that they don't go anywhere else instead.
