There’s always a period of growth and decline for a product. There’s no two ways about this. if you are a producer and want to remain on top of your game then you must always be a step ahead of your competitors. This is why it is always necessary to be creative and innovative to hold down your users-base. People sometimes get tired of a particular product and want to move to another. But you can still retain them if you devise unique and creative means. The following ideas can help you out;

Upgrade the quality:

You can attract more people and retain old customers by adding more quality to your product. You are now giving them more value for money. The consumers will still be interested to buy.

Change the Name

Some people sometimes just want a new name despite the fact that the content is same. But what is attracting might be the new outstanding name. so you can rebrand your product by giving it a new name and let new customers and existing ones keep buying your product.

Change the packaging

This one is like the most outstanding point; people can be very attracted to new packaging of a product. So give the consumer a new reason to buy your product, put the old content in a new container with a new wrapping as well. You would be surprise at how much of the products will be bought again.

Reduce the price

You start by reducing the price so that a good amount of consumers can buy to use especially if you have added more quality to it. This is just a strategy to lure them. When once the demand becomes high you increase the price, this will make them stay hook as they know the value they will be getting even with the high price.

Vary the sizes

You can make all shade of people use your product by designing in various sizes. You wouldn’t want any class of people boycott your product, so give the small, medium and large sizes. With this a class of people will buy the product.

What do you think?

Rebranding starts from being unique. Uniqueness doesn't mean selling what others are not selling because this feature may be impossible to meet. Being unique means always stand out and outstanding among the peers that do the same business. Though this may be hard to achieve but it is achievable and it will always pay off the company in the long run.
