How to Retire on little Money

How much should I have saved for retirement , let assume you have no retirement savings at 60. Now what do you do? What if you have no money to retire. Can you still retire at age 62? If you can, then why not save the difference between what you are making and what your social security benefit would be? Why not save the difference? You will have to reduce your lifestyle or save the money, or do both.

In another thread about retirement I had posted that I saved money so we can still travel when I get retired. Although it is not easy to save a lot for retirement but it can be done. We do not live forever and my take on life is to enjoy it while it lasts. I do not need to be staying at home all the time. I want to travel and I still can.
