This is a very crucial topic, The renting of homes can be a bit stressful since tenants don't really know their rights, landlords can manipulate them into anything, But not anymore...

Here are a few important, rights and responsibilities that the landlords should provide for their tenants
1.
The accurate details of the licensed premises (the house being leased), including the floor and carpet area, access to common areas and residential amenities, and parking facility information. The landlord must work with the sub-office registrar's to have the lease agreement legally stamped and registered.
2. After the landlord and tenant have signed an agreement, the landlord should allow the tenant to utilize his property. The tenant now owns the occupation for the duration of the lease. (Which means no disturbance, so if your landlord starts to bug you, it's an offense)
3.The landlord should ensure the tenant some level of safety and privacy while on the premises, while also allowing them to enjoy the residential amenities. (Here is what it means, it's kind of an act of wickedness, but if it turns out the area isn't safe, and you get injured or attacked, you might be able to sue your landlord - This is actually a true fact, I did my research to find out)
4. Before moving in, the renter must properly inspect the property in order to notify the landlord of any existing damage, leakage, or missing basics. The landlord must then take care of these issues. You have the right as a renter to request that the walls be repainted before you move in.

Beyond everything, the lease agreement must provide the tenants with the legal right to use the property and its facilities.
