Buying a big land for planting trees which would be the future lumber is a good investment although it is a long term one. At least 20 years is needed for the seedling to become a tree that can be cut for lumber. Especially if the land is near the road that would be an ideal location for a logging investment. Seedling of mahogany and other wood trees are cheap so you can easily plant even if the land is vast as to be more than 10 hectares. With 5 planters you can finish planting in 1 month. Check the land every now and then just to be sure that the seedlings and saplings are alive. After a year the trees can be left on their own for survival.
