When I heard of a club of pensioners in another town I thought it was just another seniors club. But when I learned of the details then I think that is a good one. Now I am thinking of organizing my own pensioner’s club in our village.
The activities are not so common…
1) The morning exercise in the park with free breakfast courtesy of sponsors
2) Occasional showing of movie in a designated home
3) Occasional ballroom dancing
4) Trip to a cultural place (similar to a school field trip)
5) Other suggested activities from time to time
The club is more for social affair which is needed for a retired person especially those who are living alone. Maybe we can also ask for some assistance from our town mayor if this club would materialize. It can also be merged with the seniors club for some events.
