The karaoke is very popular in our country that I would agree for a good pastime or social event for seniors. It is usually held in the home of the host who would also provide the refreshments. The objective of the event is to get a high score in the karaoke machine. It is a friendly competition among the singing seniors that they have an outlet for their hidden talent.
The only issue of the karaoke singing is the ordinance that bans loud speakers ar 9 pm. That is not really a problem because by that time the seniors are already at home and probably already in bed. What’s important is the happy social event had come and gone but there is another session on the next weekend.
