In some countries it is very risky to leave a job in a large company or government to start their own business, because it is very difficult for middle aged people who are 40 years or older to get a new job. Often employers will pay very less money to older people looking for a job, since they are aware that there are very few opportunities available to them. There are many older people who are complaining that they are not getting jobs with decent pay, despite being experienced, and well qualified. Do older people in your country find it very difficult to get a job if they have taken a break to start their own business or be self employed or is experience valued?
