Of all things you can do to build a passive income, writing is the easiest way to do it if you have the skills and if you can write well. You can make passive money as a writer in multiple ways. For example, blogging, publishing on article sites, and publishing books and ebooks. Let me explain how you can do this step by step. Blogging is a simple way to earn passive income. Publishing on article sites is another way to earn passive income. There are many websites where you can publish articles and earn money from ad views. You can also publish books and ebooks and earn royalties.

There are numerous methods to use your writing skills as a passive revenue stream if you have one. Starting a blog is a terrific idea since it gives you the opportunity to share your ideas and opinions with a larger audience.

Your blog can be made profitable by selling your own goods or services, running advertisements on it, or using affiliate marketing. Because you can get paid for affiliate links and ad views when you publish articles on websites like Medium or HubPages, this can also be a profitable way to generate passive income. Lastly, creating a passive income stream and earning royalties from the publication of books and ebooks can be a terrific strategy.

In order to be successful as a writer, you must concentrate on creating content that appeals to your audience.

Publishing books and ebooks is completely passive income and it is the best passive income for writers. You will have to spend a long time to write the book, you will also have to spend some money to hire editor and also market and promote your books. Once your book manages to reach the target market, you will start generating sales, However, road to passive income as a book writer is not easy. Blogging is also very good passive income provided you have SEO and digital marketing skill.

As a seasoned writer building a passive income is pretty straight forward and you'll be spoilr with options if you truly know what you're doing because there are a lot of ways to monetize your skills for example you can basically write a book and sell on popular platforms or you can build a blog by posting interesting contents that'll attract people to your blog and then you can sell them on a program or your affiliate products.

You also have to learn business of writing itself to avoid getting screwed, but overall if you're a good writer you wake a good passive income for yourself.

Writing and publishing a book or even many books does not mean that you automatically create a passive income.
In my opinion, it is necessary to first establish whether it is a passive income, but above all how much it should be worth.

Let's take a small example.
Imagine writing a novel and selling it online in digital format for 2 Euros (or 2 Dollars, or...).
The digital format allows us to earn more in the form of royalties.
Let's assume to earn 1 € (1 $ or whatever you want) for each sold copy.
We need to sell 50 copies of the novel each month to build a passive income of 50 €. It is 600 copies in a year.
It means there must be at least 600 people who are not only interested in my novel but also have been convicted of spending 2 € to buy it.

A person could purchase a copy for 1 euro and resell for just 0,01 euro then all people will purchase the book from it and not from you. It is possible with all electronic book version. A buyer sells electronic book for 170 euros but the website resell for 1,7 euro and sell 5000 electronic version then no one will go to original website to sell original seller. In practice, it is different.

Writing is not the easiest way to build a passive income stream as you say. You should have good imagination. Otherwise, you will run out of ideas. Blogging is not a simple way to earn passive income. You need to display ads on blog pages. If someone clicks, then only you will earn. Simply publishing articles on article sites does not earn you income. You need views to earn. Earning from ad views is not so easy as you say.
