In order to build wealth, you need to invest, without investment, your money does not grow. Whether you want to invest in your own business or invest in the market, stock market for example, you need money. In order to have money for investment, you need to make more money. Therefore, you can invest more only when your income is more. However, the question is how to you make more income.

You can work and make money. In order to get more job offers, you need to build an audience, you need better paying clients. Nevertheless, working alone will not build your income. You need to use the money you make my working to build another source of income, which can be a business or investment in the market. Business requires knowledge and skills to make it profitable, therefore, for people without business knowledge, investment is a better opportunity.

You need to first build an income and then use your income to make investment. That’s how you grow your wealth.

When you are making more money than you actually require paying your bills, a lot of things will be possible for you. You can save money in an emergency fund, you can invest in the market, you can buy assets, you can buy an expensive watch you always wanted to or go on a vacation etc. However, all of these will be possible only when you are making a lot of money. In order to make a lot of money, you need multiple sources of income. If you have a job, you also need to do a side hustle. If you have a business, you also need to invest. Investment requires you to have a lot of money, investment also requires you to invest regularly, you cannot just invest and go back to sleep, you need to invest regularly, or perhaps, increase your regular income by 10-120 percent every year, and you need more money to fulfill this purpose.
