There is a big parcel of land (about half hectare) near our home that is bought by a developer last year. The plan is to put up a housing project for a townhouse compound. But until now the land remains grassy with no development. The developer is a big company so I don't think finances is the problem. When I inquired with the seller (our neighbor's family owned the land) she said that the developer is having a problem with the right of way. Our village officials are asking a very high fee for the right of way for the compound. I don't know what will happen if the village will not grant the right of way. I think that is not legal because right of way is a must. You cannot let a compound be constructed with residents couldn't go out. That is a crazy notion.
