The fact is that, no matter the warnings given, some set of people would still with their eyes open give out their details to scammers. One reason I dislike anything that has to do with online loan apps is due to divulging of all your information including your ATM card pin which is extremely risky and authorized banks do give out precaution not to relate your ATM card information to anyone even in the bank where you have an account. There is a friend who had an encounter few months ago, when she was desperately in need of money, and according to her, she refused to make use of the bank because of the long procedures and paperwork whereas these online loan apps process your request in less that an hour if only you are not indebted to them prior to the time of applying for funds. According to her, she refunded the money and after sometime, she saw another debit alert from the loan app, she laid a complaint and they told her she would get a refund that it was a technical error. Till today, she has not gotten any refund and the loan app no longer functions. This taught me a great lesson that no matter the desperation, we should take precautions.
