Among the things you mentioned, I am only engaging in one, that is Crypto investment. But knowing the risk and considering that I am a conservative investor, I only place a small amount and when the price went up, I decided to withdraw my initial investment. So what I have in my balance as of now is pure profit. So I didn't have to worry when the price of crypto fell these past few days.

I have also other form of investment programs but I considered those as low risk. When it comes to investing, it is imperative that we make thorough research before investing our hard earned money.

Yes, there is a difference between gambling and investment. While you have high chances of losing money in both, but if you plan well and work hard, you can make money from investment where as making money from gambling is entirely depended on your luck. Your skills and expertise do not wok.

I would like to differentiate between gambling/betting and stock, forex and crypto. While forex, crypto and stocks are legit investment. Gambling is a game that is programmed in a way that 99 percent people lose money. Betting is also some kind of gambling even though it purely depends on your luck.

Maybe someone can live from gambling and betting, or get rich because of betting and gambling, maybe only bookies will get rich, while small players will always lose. I don't think forex trading or even gambling can be considered "unhealthy addiction." You can use forex or even gambling as a business (by operating your own gambling company). A business is not an addiction, business is a way to generate income, generating income cannot be termed or labeled as addiction.

Gambling, betting, Forex Trading, and Crypto Investment are some of the risky ways of making money online.

Gambling means playing casino games, dice, cards, slot machines etc. for money. You do not require skills to make money from gambling (unless you are playing games like poker), you just need a little bit of luck

Betting is also a kind of gambling. Betting is a guessing game where you make money when you guess correctly. Sports betting is a common betting game.

A lot of people compare gambling and betting with forex trading because just like in gambling you need luck in forex trading, and just like in betting, you will have to guess the price correctly in order to make money from forex.

Even though forex trading has a high risk, I don't believe it is "the older brother of gambling." Forex trading is a legit way of making money, even before the evolution of internet-based forex trading businesses evolved, forex trading business was in existence and people were doing business with forex trading just like any other legit business.
Having said that there is a lot of attraction to forex trading because you can make a lot of money in a short time and you do not need specialized skills.

It's quite unfortunate that many people including me have fallen for cryptocurrency investment scams. It is not required to play betting as most of bettors are losers bettors.
It is not required to play forex if you are not well experimented and you may face financial issues for unexpected loses prediction in forex.
So generally forex investor is a loser except few one how are really skilled and experimented.

I don't consider gambling and betting as an investment although it is indeed investment in the real sense. Anyway, a risky investment is one that has the potential to wipe out the investment. You can buy a million dollar worth of crypto and next week the value of your crypto can be just a thousand dollars.

You have made a valid point. Gambling is one of the investment that people should not invest on. Not only because it is highly risky but also it is a way that of losing one's resources unknowingly. If one is addicted to gambling, one won't even know till one loses all his investments on gambling.

Is there any investment that's not risky? I doubt. All investments are risky. The only difference is that the level of risk may be differ. While some are low, others are high.
