In my own view and perspective I believe that it is totally the income of the individual that should determine whether an individual should be concerned about the price of a particular goods or the efficiency of a particular goods, when purchasing a good. And sometimes it could be the kind of goods that we are talking about and also the situation that the individual is in. For example if the kind of goods we are going to buy is a mere consumer goods or services, we do not really need to focus on the quality but rather on the price and that is because majority of grocery stores business owners impose exorbitant prices on their goods and services so as to make extra profit, so it is okay to begin more on the price and make sure that the business owner gives you a discount. On the other hand if the product we are going to buy is a medical kind of products for example a drug, we do not need to focus on the price but rather the quality, and this is because what is at stake is our health or life. And to get healed we need to buy the best quality drug.
The income of the individual as well can also determine if he or she could be concerned about the product price or product quality. If the individual purchasing the product does not have huge amount of income he or she may not buy a product with higher-quality, but if he or she is a rich and wealthy individual, then definitely the product quality maybe his paramount concern and mostly not the price.
