Should You Use Free Or Paid Content On The Internet?

Did you know that there is free web content available to the public online? That's correct. It's available in hundreds of categories and written by hundreds of different authors. Everything is free and open to the public. Choose your own categories to get almost any type of content. However, there are some drawbacks to this free content. There are some catches, if you will.

You must credit the authors if you use this free content. You can't claim to have written it. That is the snag. So, if Johnny wanted to create a website selling his custom-made skis and use Sue's free article on "Benefits of Skiing" as his homepage, he'd have to give Sue credit.
You can claim it as yours. You pay the writer, who then sells you the copyright. It is now yours. Sue's article does not obligate you to sell your skis. That is the content of your personalised home page. It is entirely optional to credit the author for whom you paid.

Paid content is extremely targeted. Did you know that on average, visitors spend only 20% of their time reading your content? They want to know who you are as soon as possible. In fact, they scan rather than read. If you can impress them right away, the money you're paying for that content is well spent. That is a one-time fee, but the benefits are ongoing.

Free content is good at times. However most useful info comes from paid content. Free content only give you the basic idea. Paid content goes into detail in most cases
