If you are doing social media marketing, you will have to check your social media analytics to see how your posts are performing. It does not matter what you are sharing, a status update, an image or graphics, a video, or an ad, you need to constantly monitor how your social media posts are doing. The social media analytics will reveal a lot of things such as your reach, impression, click on the links, etc.

Here are some common things to tack on various social media platforms.

Facebook: Total reach, impression, likes, link clicks, engagements, video views, post likes, comments, shares, etc.

Twitter: Impression, engagements, clicks on the links, retweets, and profile visits.

Instagram: Post reaction, comments, reach or impression, and video views

TikTok: Hash tag performance, impression, views, comments, new followers

LinkedIn: Downloads, post engagement and engagement rates, impression, and unique impression

Pinterest: Ourbound clicks, repins, impression, follow, and engagements

Youtube: Watch time, views, and revenue on each video, subscribers every video is bringing, and engagements on your videos.

If you are using social media platforms to promote your website, content, business or product, you should always check your performance. Checking your social media performance means you check how your posts are doing. The first thing to consider is your post read, you need to check how many people were able to see your post on their feed. The second thing to consider is the click. You need to see how many people actually clicked the link you shred on your post. The primary purpose of social media promotion is to get people from social sites to your website, stores, business, or product. Therefore, the higher link visit will indicate higher traffic to your store. Link visit is directly proportional to conversion. If there is a link visit, it is very likely that there will be conversion. When there is no link visit, it is understandable that there is no conversion.
