I did some research on social media conversion and found this

Tiktok: The conversion rate for ads on tiktok differs according to the type of ads, for example, the in-feed video ads have a click-through rate of 1.5-3 percent and a conversion rate of 5-7 percent. Take Over ads have a click-through rate of 7-10 percent and TopView ads have up to 16 percent Click Through Rate.

Pinterest: Depending on niches, Pinterest has a 1.5 to 8.5 percent conversion rate, for example, the Arts and Crafts niche on Pinterest has a conversion rate of 3.84 percent.

Facebook: The number one social media network has a 9.1 percent conversion rate in all industries.

Instagram: The conversion rate depends on the number of followers, and you get a 1.84 percent conversion rate.

Twitter: Twitter has a 0.90 percent conversion rate.

Google: Search Engine Giant has just 3.48 percent on the search network and even lower 0.72 percent on the display network.

Conversion rate is total number of sales divided by total number of visitors

Conversion means traffic or revenue. When you share something on social media and when there is a conversion, you either receive traffic on your website or store, or there is sales on your store or website. The whole point of social media marketing is to generate traffic or sales. If you cannot generate traffic or sales, your social media marketing becomes useless. The only exception to this rule is when you are using social media to build your brand. Social media can also be used to build your business or product brand and connect with your customers. However, the main idea behind building brand is to build sales. When you are using social media for marketing, you should first of find who your true audience are and then find what demography is most active on the platform that you want to use. Without knowing the demographic, your marketing will not become successful.
