The long arms of the crime are becoming apparent, and with new revelations that popular crypto news agency "The Block" was funded by scam king SBF, all the incidents of news agencies presenting SBF as heroes are in question again.
As per the reports by media company Axios, The Block received $27 million in funding from Sam Bankman-Fried's firm, Alameda Research. Block CEO Michael McCaffrey used a portion of that fund (16m) to buy an apartment in the Bahamas,
Following this revelation, McCaffrey has resigned as CEO. While "The Block" is blaming McCaffrey for using company funds, The Block's credibility in the crypto world has also come under fire after it was revealed to be secretly sponsored by SBF.
Recently, Kevin O'Leary from Shark Tank has also been under fire for becoming a paid spokesperson for SBF. It is not possible that the news agencies gave so much publicity to SBF impartially.
