The Difference Between Having a Reason and an Excuse in Your Business?

In business, there's a difference between having a reason and an excuse. A reason is something that you can attribute to your success. It's the way you live your life, the things you do to make things happen, and why people are attracted to you in the first place. An excuse is something that stops you from going after what you want. It's what keeps you from taking risks or making decisions that could change your life. If you're looking for a reason to succeed in business, look no further than these three tips:

1. Get out of your own way: Stop listening to yourself when all you hear is excuses. You have more control over what happens in your life than you think, if anything gets in the way of your success, it's not because of bad luck or fate; it's because YOU allowed it to happen.

2. Take action: Stop talking about how hard things are and start doing something about them! If there's one thing we've learned from our clients at [company name], it's that action always beats inaction, and if there were two things we'd learned… well… let's just say that action really does beat inaction every time.

Yeah a lot of people are held down from doing what they are ought to do by their own excuses even when they should forge ahead and succeed with their business they will only procrastinate and give excuses why the thing should be shifted forward or left for a latter time. When once youfind a perfect lie for your mistakes then you would be comfortable wherever you lead or find yourself. This is why it is always wrong to delay taking up a task that will help one to develop or grow a business and then look for a perfect excuse to give which will make us feel better

Giving excuses for a thing hat would have been done for a business comes with the following;

it will hamper the growth of the business. Of course what would have been done will be left undone and events will overtake which will make doing the same thing at a latter time worthless.

The business will move at a very slow pace: This is if the business is moving at all. There will be lack in effectiveness and efficiency as what would have been applied as been overtaken by excuses which doesn't help in anyway.

Having a reason is better than having an excuse. You know what I mean. You have a reason for everything you do, and you can explain it to anyone who asks, even if they're not really interested in hearing it. But when someone asks you why you did something, and you answer with "I had to," that's an excuse, and those are bad news in business.

If you're going to run your own company, then you need to be able to stand up for yourself in any situation and explain why you did what you did without hesitation. The best way to do that is by having reasons for everything, and tips on how to come up with those reasons when you need them. When you have a reason for doing something, it's because you truly believe in the value of what you're doing.

The reason can be as simple as "I want to make more money" or "I want to learn this skill." Whatever your reason is, it's something that drives you forward and makes you feel good about what you're doing. An excuse on the other hand stops people in their tracks. It's something that keeps them from moving forward with their lives and reaching their goals. Excuses are often rooted in fear or self-doubt, things like "It's too hard" or "I don't know how."

Excuse is a tool provided for failed people to hide under. Giving excuse is nothing but an act to be avoided at all cost. We only need to give reaons why things are not done or why they are done. And not excuse.

The same hard economy that you are complaining of being harsh is where someone is making it by buying cars and building houses on daily basis. This means you are the one nit putting much pressure that you need to put before you can be seeing results. Human always want result that they don't work for.

How can we stop giving excuses? We can try as much as possible not to be giving excuses if we step out from out comfrot zone. Nothing good and special may not come out of our comfort zone. We need to move out from our comfort zone. This will allow us not to be depending on people.

Being creative will also help us in not giving excuse. When we have different skills, we can by far be creative and find money using any skill of our choice. People that are skillful hardly complain of bad economy since they are equipped with what they need.

I totally agree with you that there's a difference between having a reason ( which is like a drive towards sucess) and having an excuse in one's business. As much as having a reason in one's business seems understandable, it should be a positive reason that drives one towards success, if not, it would become an excuse. Lazy people always make excuses and give reasons why their business did not succeed or is not growing. Whereas they r the one's at fault. Business owners should always see a reason to keep pushing even when the business is facing trying times.
