The role of maintenance in a building or any property can't be overemphasized because maintenance plays a vital role if a property owner want the sustainability of such property. The following are the reasons you should take the maintenance of your property seriously

You would be adding to the value of the property and if such property is for commercial use it will bring more money as people are more willing to pay more for a property that is well maintained or is in order.

A well maintained property is a safe place for occupants and renters of such. There's hardly a case of such property collapsing or needing incessant repairs by the users

The property will always look presentable and have a nice appearance. A well maintained property whether a store, shop or a home will be appealing to the eyes and this is how it is supposed to be.

What do you think?

Property maintenance is one of the most important aspects of owning your home. It can help you save money and make your property more attractive to potential buyers.

In addition, property maintenance can also protect against future problems. For example, if you have a leak in your roof, you may not be able to find the source of the leak until it becomes worse. In this case, repairing minor issues before they become bigger problems can help save time and money in the long run.

There are three types of property maintenance:

Basic: These include things like lawn maintenance, painting or sprucing up your front porch or driveway. These are often overlooked, but they are important as they can help improve curb appeal and make your home look better.

Safety: This includes any safety issues that may arise from your property such as a faulty electrical system or a flooded basement after heavy rainstorms. Safety issues should be addressed immediately so that they don't worsen over time and cause further damage to the structure of your home or injure anyone inside it.

Maintenance: This includes fixing broken windows, replacing doorbells or plumbing fixtures, etc...

As a property owner most especially estate owner , maintaining your properties is very important thing to do if you want your properties to last long while making good money from it.

A property you dont maintain will definitely wear out and might collapse on the long run , most houses out there that are not maintained and renovates when it calls for it normally started by getting weaker daily and if care is not taken into consideration, You might loose the building or if it get late before you take action , younare going to spend multiple amount you supoosed to have spent at the initial stage .

Secondly a house or properties that's not maintained looses value and depreciate because tenant wants the best and if they realises the house is not at its best , they tend to reduce the price they are going to pay for its rentage .
