The kind of workout for seniors

A former pro basketball player who became senator is still sporting a good physique. His name is Freddie and he finds joy in doing his workout in the gym. He spends 3 to 4 hours in the gym every day.

Do you think that is a good exercise for a 75-year old guy? We have to admit that the older you get the more fragile the body becomes. Abuse of the body will result in health problems later on. My take on the proper exercise for the seniors is a moderate one. You can jog, you can dance, you can lift weights and some other types of workout. But do everything in moderation. Always protect your body from abuse. Excessive workout can be harmful instead of being beneficial.

If the person has been working out heavily all his life, working in a gym even in old age might be okay but for most people working in a gym in old age is not recommended. What if you break your bones or tear your ligaments, it will take months to heal. High-intensity training is not recommended for old people.

I can never advise an elderly person to go into any strenuous activities. Little walks or strolling around can really help than engaging anything that will make one feels serious pains afterwards. For a man up to 75 years a walk in the neighborhoods should be enough daily, but the person should rest more

Even though he is spending so much hours on the gym engaging in exercise does not mean he is not observing.there are some exercise that he will not be able to do as a used to do in his youthful age . There are some exercises that people can engage especially seniors , there are some exercises that you do not have to put so much energy.
