You have the most important jobs in our society.Nothing happens for your company until you make a sale.Every other person in the company, from the president down to the janitor is completely dependent on yo for their employment and their income.Your ability to generate a sale is the absolute prerequisite for the success of your business.Your effectiveness as a salesperson is crucial to determining whether your company will succeed or fail.
Selling can be either an occupation or a proffession depending upon your attitude towards what you do.
A fatal mistake that most salespeople make is that they think it is as easy to rise in sales as it is to get into sales in the first place.Your first sales job gives you a tenuous handhold on the bottom rung on the ladder of sales success.
In selling, the elevator to the top is out of order, you have to take the stairs,you have to rise on the basis of your own determined effort,there is no substitute for hard work.It is your attitude and your activities that determine whether you make selling an occupation or a profession.It is you who makes your work honorable.

When you say selling I want to see it in the area of marketing, that is creating awareness of a product or service and making sure that the potential or target audience actual get the the product and services. Somany people have taken to it as a full time career and they are doing so well in it both financially and job wise. To be candid the truth Being a marketer or sales personal is tasking and indeed it could be challenging most times to meet up the target set by the organization. But with time one will have benefit tremendously mostly when their are incentives for targets that are met.
