You can make a lot of money as an ebook writer, however, not many people succeed as an ebook writer. That’s because they are doing it the wrong way.
First of all, determine what kind of ebooks you want to write. Do you want to entirely text-based ebook (a storybook, for example), a book with few diagrams and pictures (non-fiction books with facts and figures), or picture books (visually illustrated ebooks).
You need different sets of skills to write these books. You also need skills with book formatting and designing. You can hire someone to do this or learn how to use Canva.
Also, write on the topics that sell. If you are unaware of what topic sells, try to niche down any topics you can think of and write on the micro-niche. If you are thinking about writing on cats, don’t write an ebook titled “How to take care of cats” instead write “How to take care of your Persian Cat.” People are interested in specific topics, they are not interested in generalized topics.
