An employer is basically an individual in a business organisation that recruits and employs employees or workers into the business organisation. An organisational employer should always be a skilled and creative individual, and most importantly he or she is responsible for enacting rules and regulation in which the business employers and workers must definitely obey and adhere to. It is not all about the enacting of business or organisational rules and regulations that govern all practices and activities happening within and outside the business organisation, but it is all about enacting a rules as well as regulations that is efficient and effective and also compelling for all organizational personnels to adhere to. Moreover that basically implies that the business employer must not only enact rules and regulation that suits his or her own interest but instead he or she must do well to enact rules and regulation that favours the interest of his or her employees and workers. For example, if a particular organisational rules plays out that, by 7:00 all personnels should be present in a business environment, well the business employer should understand that such time frame is absolutely too early and some of his or her employees could be nursing mums, mothers, wives, husbands, family men, and other responsibility having individuals, who would have to do one or two responsibilities at home before going out for work, such as preparing the children for school, cooking at home, taking care of aged parents, and so many other activities. However the business employers should consider all these factors, before actually then acting rules and regulations concerning punctuality. Let us consider other ways in which an employer can be efficient in enacting organizational rules and regulation for employees to adhere and abide to: CONSISTENCY: Employers should consistently enforce the rules and regulations to ensure that employees are aware of the consequences of violating them. This helps to create a culture of compliance. EMPLOYEE INVOLVEMENT: Involving employees in the creation of rules and regulations can increase their buy-in and commitment to following them. Employers can involve employees in the process through feedback sessions, surveys, or focus groups. REGULAR REVIEWS: Employers should regularly review and update their rules and regulations to ensure that they are up-to-date and relevant. This can also help to identify areas where the rules and regulations may need to be amended. FLEXIBILITY: Employers should strive to be flexible in their application of rules and regulations. This can help to accommodate individual employee needs and situations, while still maintaining a consistent application of the rules. POSITIVE REINFORCEMENT: Recognizing and rewarding employees who follow the rules and regulations can help to reinforce the importance of compliance. This can include verbal recognition, performance evaluations, or rewards programs.
