Market can be described as a place where buyer and seller meet to exchange goods and services.
It a place where transaction take place between buyer and seller.
Marketing approach can be defined as where customers and potential customer,company and other business entities compete with each others in a market.
Business success is achieved by providing goods or services to customers in a way that meet customer needs successfully.
CUSTOMER NEEDS
Customers buy product or services for a reason.
When they can choose between two or more competing products, there is a reason why they choose one product instead of another. And the price us not the major determinant in buying a product or services.E.g
(1) A better quality product
(2) better design features
(3) availability of the product
(4) convenience of purchase
(5) the influence of advertising or sale promotions.
There is 4ps of marketing mix.
Marketing approach is to identify customer need and try to meet customer needs succefully than competitors.
The 4ps are :
(1) product: Your product must be quality
(2) price: The selling price must not be too high compared to that of competitors.
(3)Place: The channel of distribution must be intact and consumer must be able to get the product easily.
(4)promotion:,The product and services must be advertise very well in other for the customer to get to know that the product essisted.
This is what marketing entails and I belive that you may also have one thing or the other to sat concerning this.
