What takes place during the plan reassessment?

• The NDIS will consider any information provided by the participant about their new assistive technology needs when they ask for a plan reassessment.
• If the participant's circumstances change, the NDIS may decide to reassess their plan.
• The NDIS can include the funding in the new plan if the participant provides evidence that the assistive technology meets all NDIS funding criteria.
• The funding will be made available once the plan is approved.
• For the participant to be sure assistive technology is right for them, the NDIS sometimes includes funding to rent or try an item especially if they're using it for the first time.
