Why are many becoming anxious of their material need and wants

Human human beings are the tendencies of developing anxiety concerning their material wants and needs , this is due to the existence of some factors that plunge human beings to be anxious about food clothing's , shelters , their savings , and investment . Some of these factors include the economic condition of the country in which they reside . As a result of poor economic condition in most regions of the world especially in West Africa people are finding it difficult to earn enough money to care for their families and for them self . And as a result of this poor economic condition job opportunities are not made available for habitants , and in most cases only people with higher authorities and status get employed .

Another factor to consider is death , sometimes in most family someone who was the breadwinner could die , leaving the rest of the family without financial or monetary support , and as a result of this they become anxious of what they will eat , what day will wear , what they will save , and what they will invest . It is okay to be anxious about our material needs , but as humans we are blessed with the ability to develop business ideas , we should endeavour to put this ability into good use so as not to die of poverty .

Well, I would like to know what you would suggest or recommend we pursue if not our needs and wants? Anxiety is a natural phenomenon and it is inherent in all of us. The anxiety of the basic necessities of life to me is a good spark or motivation which would make an individual to be aware of his present status such that, if he dedicate his time to frivolities, he will have nothing to call his own. The necessities of life is mostly material things and this is the way it was designed to be. Humans wake up early to pursue their different ventures because of the fear of poverty and having to incur debts or loan money. Have you ever stopped to imagine why a billionaire would still work hard in making more money despite reaching the apex of financial freedom? This shows that anxiety is inherent in us all and if it is used wisely, it would propel and direct our steps and choices into creative and innovative ways of thinking in order to make money. Making money is very paramount because almost nothing can be achieved without it. Even to invest in your knowledge, you need money to pay for the services.

This is nature and unfortunately we can't fight mother nature, human needs and wants are insatiable and we just have to live with this truth and try our best to make enough money and live out all our dreams.

In the case of people dying and living out their families in perpetual poverty, I think it all started out from giving births without any plans and future preparation for the lives they brought in to this world, most people still see giving birth as something to be proud of and show off to people, some people compete based on the children they have not based on the quality of life there children are enjoying and when the bread winners die the whole family languish in poverty.

Parents need to have a trust fund gears at their children right from when they gave birth, to prepare for the future of the children and analyze your income and make a decision on the number of kids you want to have, if an individual internalize this he will be able to live according their means and contain their material desires.

This is really getting out of hand, in Nigeria we are over 200 million and our gdp is nothing to write home about.

It is very true that people these days have the tendency to be very anxious about their material needs and wants. This anxiety is brought about by the hard economic times that most nations are going through right now. It is a normal thing to be anxious during such times, but for some people, that anxiety goes overboard.

You find that out of anxiety, people try every means to earn money. Many go against their morals and principles to earn money. That is why prostitution is not a feared moral issue anymore. And people can kill or steal without care.

The anxiety of not knowing what to live on is very high these days. But as you said, people have all the ability to overcome anything. There are so many earning methods and businesses that you can try out. So always be ready to learn new skills and try new earning methods so as to make some money and earn a living.

With all the uncertainties in the world today, who wouldn't be anxious about material needs and wants? Our responses to such anxieties generally determine the outcomes. Many of us work hard and consistently look for ways to improve our earnings. In other words, many of us are responding properly by turning those anxieties into motivators. We save part of our earnings as a hedge against future needs. We invest in pre-need plans and insurance to cover future costs. We invest in financial securities and real estate to complement our income and cover future inflation. Some invest in agricultural lands or small farms to ensure food sufficiency. The more preparation and protection we can put up, the less anxious we become. Our ability to solve complex problems sets us apart from animals of less intelligence.​

The quest for survival as always been at the cwnter point of all humans, the human race has always been all about the quest for survival and it has always been like this since time immoral, people has always had that sense of self, people has always that sense of greed, and it is reflective in all we do, at every chance we have to make an extra income irrespective of whether we truly have a need for the extra cash or not. we always assure ourselves of the need to always want more, this could actually be as a result of the fears of the unknowns, as we always have that feelings that things may go bad in the future, hence people always keep money for precautionary, speculative purposes. And at every opportunity the human nature in us really wants to exploit it. This is why our quest for wanting more will not end anything soon.

Couple with the greed in our leaders and government they are all wanting more hence the people is also worried if there will be anything left for them, if all the common wealth is been amassed by a few. What will be their fate when all the resource is been consumed by this greedy few.
