It is not a gainsaying that scam website is taking over almost everyday. Many people have even seen online money as a dubbed way of earning illegally. The following may be some of these reasons why people engage in scam:

Gullibility of the people: those that start scam websites always want to take advantage of the online users gullibility. Most people that use online media believe all what they see and they can easily be tricked.

The anonymity nature of the online platform. It is difficult if not impossible to know who's behind the button on online media making it easier to dupe people.
