10 great hair care tips to make your hair thick, healthy, and beautiful.
1. Wash your hair once every week at maximum.
2. Don’t use shampoo or conditioner that contains sulfates.
3. Use a shower filter to remove hard water minerals from your hair.
4. Avoid brushing your hair after you shower; air dry instead, then brush it when it's totally dry.
5. Avoid heat styling whenever possible, but if you must do it, use a heat protectant product first.
6. Give your hair a break from dyes, bleaches, and chemicals every once in a while by going natural for a few months.
7. Trim the ends of your hair every four to six weeks to prevent split ends and keep your hair looking healthy and full of body.
8. Wash the sweat out of your hair immediately after working out to avoid damage from bacteria and salt buildup in the scalp area.
9. Use moisturizing products on your hair at least once per week, or more often if needed for dry or damaged locks.
