Every businessman, especially the marketing department, in carrying out campaigns/promotions must always make changes, especially at certain moments that must be different, which only happens once a year, such as Christmas and New Year's moments, Valentine's Day, Ramadan (Muslim), Hari Raya ( Muslim), Winter, Holiday season etc. In general, during these seasons, consumers will tend to shop more than on normal days. This opportunity will be used as best as possible by business people to publish seasonal advertisements to increase sales throughout the year. The following are 4 seasonal marketing strategies that can be implemented by business people.

1. Run Seasonal Promotions
Normal marketing that has been carried out by businesses must be supported by seasonal promotions, for example if the peak sales of a particular product occur in winter then the business cannot expect to achieve the same level of sales in summer or other seasons. So business people have to carry out seasonal promotions intensively, such as giving special discounts, bonuses, Buy 2 get 1, etc.

2. Implement Content Marketing
Currently, potential customers spend more of their time online reading blog posts, content on social media. So businesses must be keen to publish content to support seasonal marketing. For example, if you are an organic food seller, you can make an article on certain types of food that can provide warmth to the body, especially in the rainy/winter season. If you are a car rental entrepreneur, you can make an article on how to drive safely in the rainy season, etc.
Even though article content cannot have a direct impact on sales turnover, at least article content can increase consumer trust and loyalty.

3. Ensure Sufficient Goods Inventory.
Seasonal marketing needs to be supported by ensuring sufficient supply of goods, so that orders can always be served properly.

4. Determine When the Marketing Season Ends
Because seasonally, of course, there is a starting time and an ending time, so it is necessary to stop the marketing season to save on marketing costs.
