When you're thinking about quitting your job, there are a few things you should do before leaving.

1. Plan for the future. you might be excited to leave, but don't throw away all your savings on a new life. Be careful you save much more money to cover you till you get a new job.

2. Find out what's next maybe you can't find another job right away, but maybe you'll get an unexpected bonus that will help tide you over until then.

3. Support other people in your work group. It's important to support coworkers so they feel like they can make their own decisions and take responsibility for their career paths by leaving if needed!

4.Think about how to make change happen. even if it means taking on a new role or stepping up into management, think about how you can contribute to making the world better and more inclusive for everyone at work and outside of it.

Normally it is not the best for you to quit your present job when you have not been able to get another one that will help you make money. If I have to quit a job I'll definitely have a plan of starting a business or engaging in other profitable things that will generate me money.

As the poster has said , having a proper plans of the future is the best things that will help you in situations like this . you must have what you are interested to achieve in case situation arises for you to quit your job. With that you wouldn't have any challenge of how to get started.

In some cases if there is proper time management , there is how you can start your business even when you are still workings and that will be of a greater advantage for you. It's depends on your plans and preparation.

Quitting a job is a very crucial decision that one cannot just wake up and make it. One needs to really think it through and make sure that they are really ready to leave. Some things that shows you are ready include;

1. You already have a new job - maybe you went to interviews while you were in your past job and you succeeded at getting a new job. Well and good, you are good to go.

2. You have enough savings - this is in the case of when you don't already have another job waiting. So you have enough money to sustain you while you search for a new job.

3. Your side hustle is thriving - this will help you earn a living while you look for another job opportunity. Or maybe you have just retired from work to focus on it.

4. You already know what career path you want to pursue - you wouldn't want to struggle not knowing what to focus on.

Before quiting a particular job, it is always better to make sure we have seen another one. This will ensure that we don't have much to regret after leaving the first one. There is also the need to learn some skills, this will make sure that we add some new knowledge to ourselves. It will ensure that we get more chance of being price higher in the new place.

Also, in case we are maltreated in the first working place, we need to make sure we avoid the situation that can still warrant such treatment.
