As a worker it isn’t great to involved in office politics. Engaging in office politics undermines your core values as person. It shows that you don’t want transparency, openness and credibility in the workplace. It will even affects you as a person. So what are the reasons to avoid this act:
Reduction in production
Engaging in office politics will reduce your productivity, as it will take your focus from work

Office politics comes with its own propaganda which will make you promote more of your personal interest. This make you deviate from the goals of the workplace
